Whether you’re looking to improve the well-being of your furry companion, or remedy a specific health issue, CBD could be a viable option. While it isn’t a cure all solution, hemp oils containing naturally occurring CBD has shown to be quite effective when combined with other treatments. Here we will  address some of the questions you might have, but it’s always a good idea to consult your licensed Veterinary.

CBD for Animals with Anxiety
It’s a fact, animals experience stresses just like humans. Whether it’s thunderstorms, owner attachment, the unfortunate scenario of abuse, or a plethora of other causes, CBD has shown to reduce anxiety in both humans and animals.

Reduce Pain
Studies show that CBD and other cannabinoids found in full spectrum hemp oil have potential to treat a variety of ailments associated with pain. The analgesic properties found in CBD make it a viable option for your pet’s pain relief.

Slows Cancer Growth
With cancer becoming such a prevalent part of society, you may wonder if there’s natural options for your pet. Although we can’t recommend treating any illness with CBD, research shows that CBD slows tumor growth.

Treats Seizures & Epilepsy
If your animal suffers from regular seizures, CBD could be worth trying. In a human trial, 7 out of 8 patients with epilepsy saw measurable improvements over a 5 month period.

Reduces Inflammation
Studies show that CBD can remedy the affects of inflammatory disorders including multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, colitis and hepatitis and “have been shown to protect the host from the pathogenesis through induction of multiple anti-inflammatory pathways.”

Increases Appetite
Some dogs and cats just don’t have strong appetites, especially when illness strikes or old age comes about. Studies show mice that were given CBD oil were reported having increased appetite and regulated food intake. So if your pet is struggling with eating, it may be worth trying a natural remedy.

How to Administer
Place one full dropper of tincture under your pet’s tongue or next to cheeks, and let the oil absorb into soft tissue. If this worked, congratulations – you’re the owner of the ‘Good Boy’ or ‘Girl’! For the rest of us with a less than stellar pet training record, it’s recommended you mix the Hemp Oil Tincture with wet or dry food, or simply put a dropper full on a treat. For best results, give to your pet twice daily and increase dosage incrementally until desired results are achieved.
